allow/permit - 허락하다 (cf. permit, admit, emit)
prohibit/inhibit/prevent/hinder/keep/bar/debar - 금지하다
forbid - 금지하다
overcome - 극복하다
deter - (겁을 줘서) 못하게 하다.
intimidate - (겁을 줘서) 하게 하다.
example sentences :
